Unlocking potential
As a dancer, Lale achieved some wonderful things, including performing in the Russian Nutcracker, but she was also an excellent pupil. Despite her stellar performance in math and foreign languages, Lale found herself at a crossroads after completing high school, unsure of her next steps. Eventually, she decided to go for Media & Informatics, but as it turned out none of the “media” parts were truly inspiring for her. Luckily, she discovered that everything connected to coding was the right mix of learning and fun to fuel her passion.
During studies she worked as a developer in a small team of a media agency. Only after she finished her master’s, she realized the job was not right for her. She was looking for a place where she would feel appreciated for her skills and contributions without having to promote herself. It was then that she found Cloudflight and joined us. She got the opportunity to work on multiple projects, including one she did not like. Luckily, that’s not a problem at Cloudflight.
Passion Unleashed
With the compassionate guidance of her team lead, Lale changed to a completely different project that was much closer to her heart – developing a cutting-edge app for medical professionals. Coding in React (Native), she tackles intricate challenges, utilizing diverse libraries and even creating functionalities from scratch. That is exactly the right amount of challenge she needs, as each day brings a fresh opportunity for growth as a professional software engineer.
Lale really found her place at Cloudflight. Recognizing her exceptional abilities, she assumed a leadership position within her project’s front-end team, embracing additional responsibilities. She loves the flexibility to organize her day, praises excellent teamwork and feels valued by her team and leaders alike. Happy ending? Not yet, for Lale’s journey is only just beginning and we are excited to be on it with her.
