An unexpected career path
Raised on the border of the Black Forrest, Fabio spent his childhood immersed in nature, surrounded by animals and trees. Despite living in the enchanting woodlands, his curiosity for technology bloomed like mushrooms after the rain. At the age of 11, he began modifying games and delving into coding. Eventually, his thirst for knowledge led him to pursue technical education at DHBW Mannheim
After completing his bachelor’s degree in business IT, Fabio started working as a software engineer, gradually gaining more responsibilities due to his drive to improve quality and performance. After four and a half years though, he transitioned to the role of Technical Consultant and Project Manager at a small software company. It was there, in a joint project, that he first got to know Cloudflight. Eventually , he joined us and never looked back.
The work of an IT consultant
In his current role as an IT consultant, Fabio focuses on digitizing processes and products, working with a diverse range of technologies. His projects involve re-architecturing legacy software, cloud migrations, and process optimizations. In a recent notable project, he helped a customer with a vast portfolio of companies: He successfully synergized their tech stack, combined data, brought everything to cloud and thanks to AI even opened new sales opportunities. The customer’s COO hailed it as the best IT project in their 40-year career.
Fabio’s decision to join Cloudflight was motivated and cemented by the welcoming atmosphere, friendly colleagues, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies. Regardless of the office location, Cloudflight feels like home, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
