Cloudflight receives award for progressive corporate culture
“Employer of the Future” award presented by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND) at the DUP Unternehmer Tag in Cologne.

Kiel, November 2, 2023 – Cloudflight, one of the leading full-service providers for industrial digital transformation in Europe, was honoured as “Employer of the Future” for the second time in a row. DIND announced the award ceremony back in March. In the course of the DUP Unternehmer Tag (Entrepreneur Day) in Cologne, the award was personally presented to Cloudflight by former German Federal Minister of Economics Brigitte Zypries.

Cloudflight receives this award due to its profound understanding of employee and customer expectations as well as its future-oriented and innovative corporate culture. Cloudflight stands out as an employer because the company creates an environment in which work and modern lifestyles can be easily combined without having to sacrifice progress for employees and teamwork.

Christoph Oberhaus, CFO and HR responsible at Cloudflight, emphasizes: “We are very pleased to receive this award again and see it as a confirmation of our current course of attracting and promoting employees. Initiatives such as the Cloudflight Coding Contest continue to count as a successful recruiting and networking event with 5,000 participants worldwide. It’s ideas like this from the team for the team that make the difference.”

“This recognition from the German Innovation Institute is a great honour for us,” adds Marlies Steiner, Global Head of People & Culture at Cloudflight. “In recent years, we have focused strongly on creating an open and flexible work environment that enables employees in their individual life situations to balance work, family and leisure. Seeing that our efforts are noticed is a great feeling and spurs us on to expand this corporate culture even further.”

To be considered for the Employer of the Future title, companies go through a three-step evaluation process at DIND, including public portal ratings and management interviews. The honour is valid for one year and is confirmed with a seal.

The award ceremony was part of the DUP Unternehmer Tag. With interactive master classes, best practices and exciting keynotes from renowned experts with tried-and-tested tips on recruiting, leadership, sustainability, liquidity and commerce, the event offered the 400 participants a wide range of opportunities for exchange and networking.
