- Cloudflight ranks among the 300 best employers for women in Austria, earning the “Top Female Workplace 2026” award from kununu and sheconomy.
- 33 per cent of positions on Cloudflight’s Executive Leadership Team are held by women — 18.5 percentage points above the average of Austria’s 200 highest-revenue companies (14.5 per cent).
- The gender pay gap at Cloudflight Austria stands at 6.22%, well below the Austrian average of 17.6%.
- The award underscores the AI-first technology company’s commitment to driving innovation through diverse teams and equal opportunities in practice.
Vienna, 8 July 2026 – Cloudflight has been recognised by kununu and sheconomy as a Top Female Workplace 2026. The award is based on more than four million anonymous reviews on kununu and highlights companies that offer particularly attractive working conditions for women.
The above-average proportion of women — 33 per cent — on Cloudflight’s leadership team is no coincidence; it is the result of a deliberate people strategy. Most recently, Doris Lippert took on the role of Managing Director for Austria. Lippert previously served on the management board of Microsoft Austria, where she was responsible for the partner and technology ecosystem. She is also the first female president of the Association of Austrian Software Industries (VÖSI) and has been a long-standing advocate for greater diversity in the IT sector.
More than a seal of approval
For Cloudflight, the award is both recognition and motivation. Because diversity is not just part of the company culture — it is a prerequisite for innovation.
“The best solutions come from different perspectives. That’s why we create a working environment that encourages people to grow, take on new roles, and shape their own career paths. The fact that our female employees recognise us for exactly that makes this award especially meaningful,” says Doris Lippert, Managing Director of Cloudflight Austria.
Flexible Career Paths That Adapt to Life
What this looks like in day-to-day practice is reflected in the permeability between roles: Cloudflight supports employees in shaping their careers flexibly and developing across disciplines. Moving between different fields is just as much part of the offering as leadership programmes, mentoring, language courses, and internal and external opportunities for knowledge-sharing and professional development. Flexible working models — including remote work, flexitime, and workation — create the conditions for people to blend their professional and personal lives on their own terms.
For Cloudflight, however, these offerings are simply the visible expression of something more fundamental: “At Cloudflight, equal opportunities don’t come from initiatives — they come from a lived mindset. They are a natural part of our values,” says Marlene Kapeller, Head of People & Culture Austria.
For Cloudflight, equal opportunity is not an end in itself but an integral part of the company culture. The award makes this ethos visible, confirmed by an independent source.
