Around 5,000 coders worldwide compete in the
38th CCC
MUNICH, 24th October, 2023 – Cloudflight, one of the leading full-service providers in the field of enterprise digital transformation, hosted the 38th edition of the Cloudflight Coding Contest (CCC) last Friday, October 20th, 2023. In 15 countries and a total of 48 cities worldwide and online, participants of all ages and experience levels were able to take part in one of the largest coding contests in Europe. With Madrid, Antananarivo (Madagascar), and Zalau and Slatina (Romania) hosting the CCC for the first time, the contest is once again becoming more international this year.
The ever-increasing popularity of the CCC can also be seen in the number of participants. Cloudflight once again set a new record, with almost 5,000 participants in total. The proportion of female participants is also rising steadily. This impressively reflects the growing interest of women in STEM subjects and the increasing diversity of the industry.
In addition to local governments, Cloudflight also cooperates with regionally based universities for the successful implementation of the competition to promote young professionals in the field of computer science, especially for the German technology landscape.
Participants competed against each other in specifically developed coding games. For this purpose, corresponding tasks were developed in three categories: Classic, AI and School. Interested parties can read the rankings of all teams worldwide on the Cloudflight website.
