Cloudflight expands competencies in software development for cognitive systems
Munich, 29 October 2021 – Cloudflight, one of the leading software development and IT consultancy companies and Cognostics, a specialist in AI-driven software development, will join forces. The Cognostics team consists of more than 50 senior engineers, experienced AI researchers and PhD students. Cognostics develops products and technologies that enable customers to understand and analyse complex problems and derive data-driven decisions from them. The purchase agreement is expected to be completed by the end of November.Cognostics is an expert in conceptual development, design and implementation of advanced, ontology-based and explainable AI solutions. Their systems are based on the interdisciplinary collaboration of domain experts, including psychologists and physicians. In addition, insights from cognitive neuroscience and AI research are incorporated.
With the transaction, Cloudflight expands its portfolio in the area of AI-based software solutions that support thinking, learning and decision-making. Due to the expanded offering from a single source, customers benefit from even more extensive AI expertise in the important digitalisation and transformation field of software development for cognitive systems.
