In 2018, Paul Puntschart started with the development of his master thesis Mixed Intelligence for Lost Property Offices. It was his first Artificial Intelligence project, and Paul wanted to experiment with new methods and strategies on how to create Artificial Intelligence systems. Mixed Intelligence and Rapid AI Prototyping were born.
Mixed Intelligence
The general idea of Mixed Intelligence is to combine the advantages of Human Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence and let them work together to achieve goals that they would not be able to achieve on their own.
Rapid Artificial Intelligence Prototyping
Rapid AI Prototyping, which derived from Rapid Prototyping, is a software development method for fast and explorative adventurous development, for systems containing Artificial Intelligence.
Conventional Rapid Prototyping is a powerful method to get early feedback from users. This is where Paul’s new method comes in. He just exchanged the term ‘users’ with another party. So instead, we can receive early feedback from the computer.
