The challenge of indoor localization
Behind tracio is sensor technology for real-time localization with centimeter accuracy. It is designed for use in enclosed spaces and specially adapted to the robust production environment.
Transmitting units are installed in the production plant on the hardware side. The network thus set up measures the room. The building floor plan, room plans and entrance and exit areas are stored and configured in the system.
Each carrier is assigned a receiver and tracking is already possible.
How we collect data.
The concept is very simple. Unlike GPS tracking, you set the field by the sensors themselves. This means that tracking only takes place where it is necessary and wanted.
The main focus of tracio is the tracking of load carriers. In addition to real-time tracking, the states of the load carriers and thus of the (intermediate) products and raw materials can be determined by defining areas.
From this data, utilization or idle times can be recorded and impending bottlenecks can be detected at an early stage.
Wich data will be analysed
The system uses different networks for tracking and transmission. A high-frequency radio network is used to locate load carriers in the room. Communication with the system behind it can take place via a mobile data network, WLAN or via network cable. All components are easily interchangeable and reduce installation and maintenance costs.
The high-frequency radio network has no influence on production or machines. Simple integration into the company’s own IT infrastructure and security concept is possible via the mobile data network.
The tracio app offers the possibility to play out the appropriate content based on roles. Whether for picking, quality assurance, transport logistics, or management, everyone receives appropriately tailored information.
You can use the app as a dashboard on the computer and also with a mobile device.
