Cloudflight announces change in management team

PR & Communications Manager

Munich, 15th February 2023 — Cloudflight, one of the leading full-service providers for digital transformation of enterprises, announces that COO Jörn Petereit will leave the company as of March 31, 2023. Petereit, also a Member of the Bitkom Board, has decided to prioritize his own projects outside of Cloudflight.

Cloudflight has grown significantly in recent years, both organically and through programmatic M&A activities. A leading company has emerged that has grown from around 350 employees to more than 1,000. Cloudflight has become one of the most significant providers for industrial digital transformation of companies in the German-speaking region.

Petereit has made a decisive contribution to this growth since joining the company as Managing Director and COO in April 2020. Cloudflight’s structural evolution towards a scalable, highly modern business organization with a focused market approach geared towards customer needs has paid off with the near tripling of revenue and earnings.

“Jörn Petereit has been instrumental in Cloudflight’s growth and successful transformation into a leading provider of IT solutions and services in the German-speaking area. We deeply regret his decision and wish him all the best for the future,” said Dr. Roger Kehl, CEO of Cloudflight.

Cloudflight is characterized by a strong trajectory for financial growth, a special corporate culture, access to tech talents, and positive feedback on review portals, such as kununu and Glassdoor.

“With Jörn Petereit, we are losing a managing director who, with his expertise and personality, has decisively shaped the development of Cloudflight as a provider in the field of digitalization of business models, processes and products for companies, and as an attractive employer,” said Lucas Herbert, Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), majority shareholder of Cloudflight.

Information about a possible successor will be provided at a later date while Cloudflight will continue its positive development.
