Senior IT Admin

You are responsible for various IT topics including procurement of Hardware (Notebooks etc.), essential IT services we provide for all employees, network connectivity of our locations and automated recurring tasks.

As IT Admin, you will…

  • be part of our small 2nd and 3rd level support team. Your tasks may involve but are not limited to
    • typical workstation problems (MS office suite support, driver problems, printing problems) on Windows, Linux and MacOS
    • license management and procurement
    • resource planning
  • provide support for all employees using chat and helpdesk systems
  • be responsible for our company-wide infrastructure (network, notebooks, etc.) and constantly improve it
  • be responsible for data safety and security
  • improve and adapt our processes in a fast growing company
  • redesign our IT processes and services to our changing demands
  • keep our infrastructure up and running
  • lead a small team (with agile methods)

You will enjoy this job if you…

  • have solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • already gained a strong understanding of networking principles (IPv4, IPv6, DNS, Routing, …)
    • You’re able to interpret tcpdumps
  • possess solid windows day-to-day operations and troubleshooting skills
    • including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Office 365
    • knowledge of MDM / enterprise client management is a plus
  • have solid linux operational experience
  • regularly had to deal with Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and Incident Management
  • are experienced with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Git)
  • are well-skilled in terms of databases (MariaDB, Postgresql, MSSQL)
  • have experience with security topics
  • touched linux containers and kubernetes already
  • can maintain and lifecycle all of our devices (notebooks, printers, screens, including cables and adapters and so on)
  • speak English fluently
  • like to communicate and help your colleagues

Financial

For Austria: The law stipulates that the minimum wage must be specified in job  postings. The minimum salary is 49.014 euros/year in the collective agreement. Adequate to your skills, we are willing to pay much more
